Bottle Diary (the “Service”) collects and uses the personal information listed below to provide its services. You can use the Service with minimal information. Content entered in diary entries and conversations is limited to what you choose to write.

In addition to the information above, access logs, device information, error logs, and similar information may be automatically generated and collected while you use the Service.
The Service uses Amplitude to analyze usage and improve usability. Amplitude records usage behavior such as screens visited and buttons clicked. User-created content, including diary entries and conversations, is not sent to or collected through Amplitude.
2.How long we retain information
As a rule, the Service destroys personal information without delay once the purpose of collection and use has been fulfilled. In the following cases, information is retained for the periods stated below.
- Member information : Until account deletion. Deleting your account also deletes its associated diary entries, conversations, cat growth records, and related data.
- Diary entries and conversations : Until account deletion or your request for deletion.
- Subscription entitlement and event records on the Service’s servers : Deleted when you delete your account. Transaction records stored by Apple and RevenueCat are not included in deletion from the Service’s servers. Please use the contact details below for related inquiries.
- Anonymously shared diary entries and replies : Because this content has been delivered to other users, it may remain in anonymous form for a period of time after the original is deleted.
- Access logs and error logs : Up to one year from collection for security and incident response.
- Retention required by law : Where applicable laws require retention for a specific period, information is retained for that period.
3.Processing personal information using AI
The Service uses artificial intelligence (AI) to provide cat conversations and diary generation. Some or all of the conversation or diary content you enter may be used for AI processing.
- AI processing is used solely to provide the conversation and diary generation features you request.
- The Service may entrust processing to external AI providers to deliver AI features. In that case, only the minimum information necessary for the purpose is provided.
4.Third-party disclosure and service providers
As a rule, the Service does not disclose your personal information to outside parties. However, it may entrust the following tasks to external providers to deliver its services.
- AI conversations and diary generation : Processing conversation and diary generation requests
- Push notifications : Sending notifications when diary entries or replies arrive, through messaging services such as FCM
- Server and infrastructure operations : Data storage and service operations
- Usage analytics (Amplitude) : Analyzing usage behavior such as screens visited and buttons clicked, and improving usability. User-created content, including diary entries and conversations, is not sent for analytics.
- Subscription management (RevenueCat, Inc.) : Processing member identifiers and subscription and transaction information to verify purchases and renewals, restore purchases, and provide subscription benefits
Where there is a legal basis or a lawful request from an investigative authority, information may be disclosed in accordance with the procedures and methods prescribed by applicable laws.
5.Anonymous sharing
When you use anonymous sharing, your diary content is delivered to other users with an anonymous identifier, without your name or account information. You choose whether to share and can stop sharing. However, content already delivered anonymously and replies to it may remain visible to other users. Please avoid including information that could identify you or another person.
6.Your rights and how to exercise them
You may exercise the following rights regarding your personal information at any time.
- Request access to or correction of personal information
- Request deletion of personal information or suspension of processing
- Delete personal information by deleting your account
- Withdraw consent to push notifications through app or device settings
Deleting your account does not cancel automatically renewing subscriptions on the App Store or Google Play. Please cancel separately through the subscription management screen of the store where you made the purchase.
You can exercise your rights through the app’s settings or the contact details below. The Service will take the necessary action without delay.
7.Destruction of personal information
The Service destroys personal information without delay when its retention period expires or its processing purpose has been fulfilled. Information in electronic files is deleted using methods that prevent recovery or reconstruction.
